Heather L. D. Tobin, EdD

ABOUT HEATHER
Heather is a leader, product manager, designer, and educational consultant with over 20 years of experience in various higher education settings. Her early work in student affairs, academic advising, college teaching, faculty development, and instructional design assisted her with honing a unique blend of stakeholder perspectives. This greatly influences Heather's design work in many ways including her passion for creating transformative online learning experiences with specific focus on; visual design solutions, user experience, universal design methods, reflective ePortfolios, and integrative learning.
Education:
Heather earned her EdD in Curriculum and Instruction from Morgridge College of Education at the University of Denver. She also holds an MS in Higher Education and a BS in Psychology and Philosophy.
Service to the Profession:
In addition to her full-time roles, Heather has taught college and university courses in psychology, communication and leadership, and instructional design across all modalities (online, face-to-face, hybrid, and hyflex). Heather also served as elected co-chair of the eLearning Consortium of Colorado (eLCC) from 2017-2019, and university representative from 2016 to present with active roles on the annual conference planning committee from 2018-2022.
